About Me
I've spent my life seeking answers to the big questions — what gives life meaning, and where I fit into it all. It's been as much a journey inward as outward: retreats at Sacré-Cœur in Paris, pilgrimages to sacred sites across Europe and Asia, a blessing ceremony with seven Tibetan Buddhist monks, meditation retreats in temples across China. Along the way I trained in reconnective healing with Dr. Eric Pearl, studied harmonic toning with David Hykes in Paris and Dean Frenkel in Melbourne, and explored many other modalities along the way. My grandfather was a psychic, a hypnotist, and a painter — so perhaps some of this was always in my blood. I've come to see myself as a consciousness bridge - a channel between what is felt and what can be shared through art, healing and presence.
I've also lived a full and ordinary life alongside the extraordinary one: daughter, granddaughter, wife, and later, on my own again. Mother of three remarkable adults, grandmother to three beautiful souls. Life has presented challenges and also wonderful joy. I have learned that all the highs and lows are equally important and valuable lessons for our soul's evolution, all to be embraced and faced with an openness of heart.
That same care runs through my art. For over thirty years I've worked as a professional artist, showing internationally, with paintings held in collections around the world, and as artist in residence in the oncology ward at Royal Hobart Hospital. I've also volunteered in palliative care — sitting with people, and their families, at one of life's most tender thresholds. Alongside this, I've led large community art projects exploring health, aging, and Indigenous culture. You can see more of that work at www.dawncsutoros.com.
Whatever brings you here, I hope it brings you back to remember who you truly are, and a return to your essence.
